Join Team JDRF and fundraise for us at the Loch Ness Marathon Running Festival 2024 by taking on either the marathon, 10K, River Ness 5K or the Wee Nessie.

Whether this is your first 5k or you are an experienced marathon runner, we hope that you can raise lots of money for us so we can continue funding life-changing type 1 diabetes research and supporting people living with type 1.

We have to purchase charity places from the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon Festival oragnisers, as well as organise a lot of things behinds the scene. We ask that people who run for JDRF pay a portion of the fees we inccur. The fee is £20 to take part in the Loch Ness festival.
To secure your place with us you need to do the following:
Step 1: Pay your non-refundable registration fee to us via Eventbrite.
Step 2: Visit the official marathon website to register your JDRF place with them. Use the password: CHARITYLNM2024
(If you have already completed this step then you should get confirmation of your place shortly.)

The moment you have your Loch Ness Marathon Festival place and have paid your registration fee we will send you a running pack full of information, with lots of ideas on how to raise as much money as possible. We would ask that you commit to raising a minimum amount of sponsorship:

There is no minimum sponsorship if you have your own place, but aim high and you will be amazed at what you can achieve to support our work.
