Join Team JDRF and fundraise for us at the Edinburgh Marathon Running Festival 2024 by taking on either the marathon, half marathon, team relay, 10k, 5k or any of the junior runs.
Whether this is your first 5k or you are an experienced marathon runner, join us and help fund life-changing type 1 diabetes research.
With different race distances available, there is truly something for everyone at the UK’s largest and family friendly running festival.
Registration fee: £10-£60 (depending on event)
Minimum sponsorship: £100-£600 (depending on event)
To secure your place with us you need to do the following:
Step 1: Pay your non-refundable registration fee to us by clicking the register button.
Register for a charity place
Step 2: Visit the Edinburgh Marathon Festival website to register your JDRF place with them.
(If you have already completed this step then you should get confirmation of your place shortly.)
Step 3: Set up your Just Giving page here
The moment you have your Edinburgh Marathon Festival place and have paid your registration fee we will send you a running pack full of information, with lots of ideas on how to raise as much money as possible.
If you have your own place in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival and would like to run for us we’d be thrilled to have you on the team. There is no minimum sponsorship if you have your own place, but aim high and you will be amazed at what you can achieve to support our work. Please let us know about your run so we can support you on your journey!
