This autumn will see the start of JDRF’s very first vRide, a virtual cycling event that you can take part in wherever you are.
Throughout October and November, we’re asking you to take on one of the following iconic bike ride challenges: Lands End to John O’Groats or London to Paris.
So if you’re a keen cyclist, want to get a little bit fitter or just fancy clocking up some miles on the road or in your gym, then sign up today and get cycling to help us fund type 1 diabetes research.
How to register
Step 1: Choose your vRide:
Goodbye London, Bonjour Paris
Cycle 281 miles from the ‘Big Smoke’ to the ‘City of Romance’ in this epic two-month virtual challenge.
From the very south to the very north
Lands End to John O’Groats will see you virtually cycle 969 miles from the bottom of England to the top of Scotland. This advanced challenge commits you to an average distance of 15 miles per day meaning you’ll often be seen on the road or in your local gym.
Step 2: Sign up at the vRide microsite
It’s FREE to register no matter which ride you choose so why not challenge yourself and raise what you can to support JDRF. Just visit the vRide site to register.
Once registered, you’ll receive your free JDRF sweatband and fundraising pack, plus you can track your progress on our leaderboards, set up a fundraising profile page and use Strava to compete with other riders on the tours.
