This website is operated by JDRF. Your use of this site is subject to these Terms and Conditions of Use (together with the documents referred to in it), which you are deemed to accept by using the site.

If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions of Use, you must not use our site. Use of our site includes accessing or browsing our site.

https://jdrf.org.uk/ is a site operated by Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Limited, operating as JDRF.  We are a company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales under company number 02071638 and we have our registered office at 17/18 Angel Gate, City Road, London EC1V 2PT.  Our VAT number is 893975646.

JDRF is a charity registered in England and Wales (no. 295716) and in Scotland (no. SC040123). In England and Wales we are regulated by The Charity Commission and in Scotland by the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator.

Accessing our site

Access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis. We may suspend, withdraw, discontinue or change all or any part of our site without notice.

Whilst we endeavour to make this site available at all times, we cannot guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We will not be liable if, for any reason, the site is unavailable or subject to disruption for any period of time.

The JDRF name and logo are the intellectual property of JDRF and may not be used without our written permission. All other trade marks and logos used on this site are the trade marks and logos of their respective owners, and you do not have any licence or right to use any of them.

The site and all its contents are the intellectual property of JDRF or are included with the permission of the owner of such content. They are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

You may view and display design, text and graphics and may electronically copy and print in hard copy portions of this site for the sole purpose of personal, non-commercial use. Any other storage, copying, transmission, distribution or other use of the material on this site is prohibited without our prior written permission. In particular, you must not use any part of the content on our site for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors. Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of content on our site must always be acknowledged.

If you print off, copy or download any part of our site in breach of these Terms and Conditions of Use, your right to use our site will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

No reliance on information

Uploading content to our site

Whenever you make use of a feature that allows you to upload content to our site, or to make contact with other users of our site, you must comply with the content standards set out in our Acceptable Use Policy. We have the right to remove any posting you make on our site if, in our opinion, your post does not comply with the content standards set out in our Acceptable Use Policy.

The views expressed by other users on our site do not represent our views or values.

Viruses

We do not guarantee that our site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.

You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. Although the website uses encryption security software in areas where online payment details are accepted, the security of information and payments transmitted via the internet cannot be guaranteed. Any loss incurred or sustained by you when transmitting information by means of email or other internet links shall be borne solely and exclusively by you and in no event shall any such loss in whole or in part be borne by us or our agents.

We process information about you in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By continuing to use our site, we will assume that you accept and consent to all the practices described in the privacy policy and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.
