The University Toolkit has been developed with input from students, graduates, parents, healthcare professionals and JDRF staff and volunteers. It has also been supported by the research work by Dr Swe Myint and her team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, contributing to JDRF’s existing toolkit.

It involved a national survey of over 500 university students and 190 health care professionals (diabetes specialist teams and GPs). We have had input from students, graduates, parents, healthcare professionals, Diabetes UK and JDRF staff and volunteers who we are very grateful to.
