Straight to the Point is our 170-page book for adults with type 1. It is normally included within our Toolkit for adults with type 1 diabetes, but can be ordered on its own.
The book was written by us, along with people with type 1 and diabetes specialist nurses. It is a useful reference to help you keep on track and give you ideas for how to get the most out of life with type 1 diabetes. This book covers most aspects of life with type 1, including getting to grips with diagnosis, food, exercise, driving, work and mental health.
