Donate in memory

Remember a loved one by helping us to prevent, treat and cure type 1 diabetes.

Donating in someone’s name is a special way to remember a loved one and will help create a future without type 1 in their honour.

We understand that losing a loved one is an incredibly challenging experience, and if you’ve found this page because you’ve lost somebody, we’d like to extend our deepest sympathies to you.

Celebrating the life and legacy of your loved one by requesting donations allows friends and family to contribute to a cause that held special meaning to them.

How do donations in memory support people with type 1?

Your donations will help us fund the best research into treatments and cures for type 1 diabetes so that one day type 1 diabetes won’t mean a life of relentless finger pricking and insulin injections.

Your donations also help support everyone living with type 1 at every stage in their life, whether they are newly diagnosed or have been living with the condition for decades. From providing comfort and reassurance to young children in hospital to running information events dedicated to mental health, exercise and more, together we’ll support each other until we find the cure.
