What our One Walkers say
As parents of a child with T1 we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for coming along and taking part in the the One Walk. Every year we are overwhelmed with the numbers of people that join us in supporting this incredible charity. ~ The Clark family
I have participated in the JDRF One Walk for a variety of reasons; it’s a wonderful excuse to gather together with friends and family for a day out in London, while raising awareness and support for the charity. Secondly, it’s an opportunity to proudly acknowledge and openly discuss type 1 diabetes with those who are unaware of how it affects people on a daily basis.
Thirdly, it’s an opportunity to explore London and get in some much-needed exercise as well. It’s a beautiful, inclusive and fun-loving event that I believe is totally focused on bringing the JDRF family together in a welcoming and relaxed environment. ~ Courtney Glymph
