One Walk is the largest type 1 diabetes event in the world. Join thousands of people coming together to change the future for everyone living with this condition. The day will be filled with activities, entertainment and will also be a celebration of the JDRF community, dedicated to uniting and supporting the millions of people living with type 1 diabetes, globally.
By taking part, you will be helping to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat type 1 diabetes and its complications. You will also get to meet hundreds of others who understand what it means to live with, or support a loved one with the condition. So, whether you have a direct connection or not, everyone is welcome.
Since One Walk started in 2014, JDRF’s One Walks in the UK have raised over £1.3 million for some incredible research projects.
One Walks are taking place in four locations across the country so it’s easy to find an event near you. Choose from a 3km or a 5km walk, encourage your friends, family, colleagues and neighbours to get involved and sign up today! One Walks include great social opportunities, activities and refreshments for everyone who takes part, and is a fun day out for people of all ages and abilities – from the littlest legs to the most brisk power-walkers.

As parents of a child with T1 we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for coming along and taking part in the the One Walk. Every year we are overwhelmed with the numbers of people that join us in supporting this incredible charity. ~ The Clark family
I have participated in the JDRF One Walk for a variety of reasons; it’s a wonderful excuse to gather together with friends and family for a day out in London, while raising awareness and support for the charity. Secondly, it’s an opportunity to proudly acknowledge and openly discuss type 1 diabetes with those who are unaware of how it affects people on a daily basis.
Thirdly, it’s an opportunity to explore London and get in some much-needed exercise as well. It’s a beautiful, inclusive and fun-loving event that I believe is totally focused on bringing the JDRF family together in a welcoming and relaxed environment. ~ Courtney Glymph
