From 3 May we’re asking people to walk 10,000 steps a day for 40 days and raise funds on our new charity walk for type 1 diabetes research. That’s a total of 400,000 steps by the end of the challenge to represent the number of people currently living with type 1 diabetes in the UK.
So if you’re a keen rambler, want to get a bit fitter or just fancy exploring new – or familiar – ground on foot, sign up today to take up the 40-Day Step Challenge!
Free to register
You can take part on your own or as part of a team. It’s FREE to register and there’s no minimum sponsorship target but why not challenge yourself to top the fundraising leaderboard and exceed all expectations!

** Update: Over 1,000 people have signed up so far for the 40-Day Step Challenge exceeding everyone’s expectations. This is fantastic news for JDRF but this does, however, mean we are running low on pedometers until new stock arrives. For those who have recently registered we will send your pedometer as soon as possible. Don’t forget you can use your smartphone’s pedometer or an app to count your steps each day.**
