About the event

Join JDRF for the London Winter Walk!

Take in highlights of the Thames, its historic bridges, and many of the Capital’s landmarks as you take on the London Winter Walk to support those living with type 1 diabetes this January.

With full marathon, half marathon & 10k walking options, its a great way to kick start the new year and enjoy an active day out.

Your entry includes a range of free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support from medics, marshals and massage teams. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a special medal to celebrate your achievement.

As JDRF are an ‘Official Charity Partner’ – sign up for the London Winter Walk and commit to fundraise for us and you’ll get 25% OFF the standard charity place registration fee!

Cost

1. Charity Sponsorship

You pay a small registration fee, raise the target amount and we cover the cost of your event place!

10km challenge: £10 registration fee and £150 fundraising target

Half marathon: £20 registration fee and £225 fundraising target

Full marathon: £30 registration fee and £300 fundraising target

2. Mixed Funding

Pay half of the event place cost yourself with a lower fundraising target. We’ll then cover the rest.

10km challenge: £25 registration fee and £75 fundraising target

Half marathon: £40 registration fee and £120 fundraising target

Full marathon: £50 registration fee and £150 fundraising target

3. Self Funding

You pay the full cost of the event place and fundraise whatever you want.

10km challenge: £49 registration fee and fundraise as much as you can

Half marathon: £75 registration fee and fundraise as much as you can

Full marathon: £99 registration fee and fundraise as much as you can

As a fundraiser for JDRF, you will also receive a free charity t-shirt, access to a wide range of fundraising materials and full support from our Events team to help you hit your targets.

Book now to take part in the London Winter Walk. All bookings and payments must go directly through Action Challenge, but your fundraising will come directly to JDRF.
