About the event

Join Team JDRF this June and take on the Lake District Challenge to help support those living with type 1 diabetes.

Our Challenge basecamp is in Kendal, and then it’s a 100km anticlockwise loop taking in a couple of tough hills, the Garburn Pass, historic Ambleside, a half way point by Lake Windermere, forests & nature reserves – with some stunning views en route, before a huge welcome & celebration back at basecamp after a momentous journey.

Your entry includes a range of free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support from medics, marshals and massage teams. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a special medal to celebrate your achievement.

As JDRF are an ‘Official Charity Partner’ – sign up for the Lake District Challenge and commit to fundraise for us and you’ll get 25% OFF the standard charity place registration fee!

Read below for more details of costs and fundraising options or head to the Ultra Challenge website to find out more and book now! Then look forward to achieving something special in 2024.
