Saturday 24th April 10.00-11.30am
Hear more about managing sport & exercise with type 1 diabetes.
Join us for our Sport & Exercise focused Virtual Discovery Event delivered over Zoom.
Dietician John Pemberton will explain how Dynamic Glucose Management incorporates physical activity to maximise time spent between 4.0-10.0mmol/l and reduce insulin requirements.
DiAthlete Gavin Griffiths, Professional Golfer Hannah McCook and dietician Paula Chinchilla will sit on a panel to discuss their experiences and answer your questions.
As always we will update you on the latest JDRF research and ways you can support JDRF.
This event will also allow attendees the opportunity to visit a virtual exhibition from our sponsors at the end of the event.
Our first three Virtual Discovery Events were awarded 4.7 out of 5 stars*.
“These virtual discovery events are terrific, I have such fun, love the speakers, the engagement, and I have never felt so close to the type 1 community at large.”
