Back by popular demand, the North Downs 50 has returned for 2024!
Setting out from the Guildford basecamp, this is a looped 50km route which takes in some of the best of the Surrey hills and the North Downs Way. With picturesque views and stunning countryside, the North Downs 50 is a challenge not to be missed. You’ll get full support & hospitality, and with 25 km options also available, there’s a North Downs 50 Challenge for everyone!
Your entry includes a range of free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support from medics, marshals and massage teams. There is also the option to book accommodation at basecamp, so you’ll be feeling refreshed and ready to start your challenge. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, a t-shirt, and a special medal to celebrate your achievement.

You pay a small registration fee, raise the target amount and we cover the cost of your event place!
50km challenge: £30 registration fee and £360 fundraising target
25km challenge: £20 registration fee and £240 fundraising target
10km challenge: £10 registration fee and £100 fundraising target
Pay half of the event place cost yourself with a lower fundraising target. We’ll then cover the rest.
50km challenge: £75 registration fee and £225 fundraising target
25km challenge: £50 registration fee and £150 fundraising target
10km challenge: £22.50 registration fee and £70 fundraising target
You pay the full cost of the event place and fundraise whatever you want.
50km challenge: £139 registration fee
25km challenge: £89 registration fee
10km challenge: £39 registration fee
As a fundraiser for JDRF, you will also receive a free charity t-shirt, access to a wide range of fundraising materials and full support from our Events team to help you hit your targets.
