A never before seen performance from classical cross-over girl group, Ida

As seen on BBC ONE, Ida formed whilst on the London Production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s Princess Ida. Hailed as a ‘supergroup’ by Musical Theatre Review, the girls went straight into the Classical Charts with their critically acclaimed album ‘Believe’. Described as ‘Breathtaking’ by Official London Theatre, these four stunning sopranos bring you a collection of re-worked operatic arias, chart-topping hits and musical theatre favourites.  Between them they have performed alongside Katherine Jenkins, Alfie Boe (Classic FM single), Russell Watson, Rhydian, Kerry Ellis, LSO (The Proms on Thames) G4 (2016,17 and 18 tour) Kiri Te Kanawa and BBC Friday Night is Music Night alongside John Owen Jones.

An exclusive DJ set from Marcel Somerville

Marcel is a TV personality, presenter, rapper, music producer and DJ who’s known for being a finalist in season three of ITV’s hit show Love Island. Marcel first found fame in hip hop group Blazin’ Squad and the group had seven top 10 hits. He is also the founder of record label Dmode.  He was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was rushed to A&E with Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA) after his fiancée Rebecca Viera called an ambulance when he collapsed at their home in June 2020.  Marcel: “Like many people I didn’t know about type 1 before being diagnosed with it at the hospital where NHS staff saved my life. I’m grateful for all the vital work JDRF does to support children and adults newly diagnosed to help them and their families adjust to this life-changing condition. He continues: “I’m delighted to support JDRF’s One Night In, it will be a fun night for all while raising much needed funds for world leading medical research to accelerate breakthroughs for advanced treatments and to ultimately create a world without type 1 diabetes by finding the cure.”
