Come along to the JDRF Type 1 Discovery Day and learn about the latest developments in type 1 diabetes research and meet others affected by type 1.
What the day involves
We’re planning an informative event which will give you the chance to hear from our guest speakers on all aspects of type 1 diabetes. And because you’ve told us that meeting other people affected by type 1 is really important to you, the day will include time to chat to other families and meet JDRF staff.
On the day you will hear from researchers about the lastest type 1 research, real life experiences, and hear more about JDRF and how you can get involved.
Registration opens at 10am, and the presentations will begin at 10.30am. The event will finish around 12.30pm and all attendees will have access to the Museum for the afternoon. Tea, coffee, biscuits and fruit will be available on arrival.
Fun activities, including a tour of the farm, will be running for children who do not wish to sit in on the presentations.
PLEASE NOTE: Numbers for each event are very limited, so please indicate when registering whether your child would like to sit in with the presentations, or take part in the activities.
