Climb Scafell Pike and conquer the highest peak in England, all in the name of type 1 diabetes research.

Join JDRF and climb Scafell Pike on 24 September 2022.
Professional guides from Large Outdoors will take you from Wasdale to the summit of Scafell Pike – the tallest mountain in England at 978m.
There will be some inspiring views as you take on this world famous mountain finishing off with a bespoke medal.
On the same day, JDRF will be taking teams up Ben Nevis and Snowdon – so together we will be completing the National Three Peaks, all in the name of type 1 diabetes research.
This challenge is open for children over the age of 8, and all children under 18 they must be accompanied by an adult – at least one adult per three children please.

Registration: £30 per adult, £15 per child or £75 for family (2 adults, 2 children)
Sponsorship target: £150 per individual or couple, £200 per family of 4 or more

Requirements
Minimum age: 8 years old. All under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult. At least one adult per 3 children please.
Participants must be fit and able to complete the walk.
If you have any concerns about medical conditions or fitness levels please contact Sadie & Carol at climb1@jdrf.org.uk, who will put you in touch with the guides for the day to talk through any concerns. Hypo treatment will be carried on the walk and all guides have mountain first aid training.
