Choose one of three Climb 1 for Type 1 night walk locations across England, Scotland and Wales.
On the same night on 22nd June, JDRF will be taking three separate teams up Scafell Pike (the tallest mountain in England), Ben Nevis (the tallest mountain in Scotland) and Snowdon (the tallest mountain in Wales). Together we will be completing the National Three Peaks, all to help create a world without type 1 diabetes.
Which mountain you decide to take on for this night time climb is completely up to you! They are all classic challenges, but with a twist. You’ll be taking on the iconic routes by moonlight, then watching the sunrise on one of the highest peaks in the UK, all while raising vital funds for type 1 research. This involves trekking under the canopy of a starlit sky, then experiencing the spectacular scenery at sunrise as you descend – while also enjoying breath-taking landscapes that open up before you as the day grows lighter!
